Rachael Sage is a gifted piano player, singer, and songster. Her music has been tagged many shipway, from rock and roll to drink down to folk. Her way called ethnically tinged, lush, emotionally insightful, and even far-out. However the critics name it, they usually bestow positivistic comments.


Salvia was born in Port Chester, NY. She is a self-taught piano player and composer. She began playing the pianissimo when she was only some tetrad eld old. Around that same time, she as well discovered the pleasance of creating her possess tunes, all from listening to songs she liked on the radio. By the clip she was five, she was putt She got her first tastes of performing earlier real audiences by appearance in talent contests and at school assemblies.

In betwixt performing and recording, she has held legion day jobs to help pay the bills, including working as an extra in movies, as a jangle author, and a graphical intriguer. When on stage, she usually has a supportive acoustic batting order with her, including percussionists Rob Curto and Steve Jagoda.

Three more stars join DiCaprio film

Three more actors have joined the cast of the new Martin Scorsese-directed and Leonardo DiCaprio-starring thriller 'Shutter Island'.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Max von Sydow, Emily Mortimer and Jackie Earle Haley will join DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley, Michelle Williams and Patricia Clarkson in the film, which is adapted from the Dennis Lehane novel of the same name.
'Shutter Island' tells the story of two US marshals (DiCaprio and Ruffalo) investigating the disappearance of a patient from a hospital for the criminally insane.
Shooting on the film is due to begin on 6 March.

June 8, 2008 () - Alicia Keys performed at Allstate Arena Rosemont, IL, USA, on Saturday, June 7, 2008, as part of her very successful "As I Am" tour to promote her third studio album.

Propelled by the hit singles No One and Like You'll Never See Me Again, the album has sold over 5 million copies worldwide since its November 2007 release.

The disc has claimed the #1 spot for several non-consecutive weeks on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart.

The single No One, earned Keys two Grammy Awards for Best R&B Song and Best Female R&B Vocal Performance. Additionally, Keys received four awards at the NAACP Image Awards and was honored at the first annual BET Honors ceremony.

Alicia is set to make her film debut in October with The Secret Life of Bees, co-starring Queen Latifah and Jennifer Hudson.

An adventure / drama based on the best-selling novel of the same name, the film is set in South Carolina in 1964. It is the moving tale of Lily Owens (Fanning) a 14 year-old girl who is haunted by the memory of her late mother (Burton). To escape her lonely life and troubled relationship with her father (Bettany), Lily flees with Rosaleen (Hudson), her caregiver and only friend, to a South Carolina town that holds the secret to her mother's past. Taken in by the intelligent and independent Boatwright sisters (Latifah, Okonedo and Keys), Lily finds solace in their mesmerizing world of beekeeping, honey and the Black Madonna.

Her current success notwithstanding, Alicia , 26, says life hasn't been easy for her. Two years ago, a workaholic lifestyle and the death of a close relative from cancer pushed her to the brink.

Alicia chose to withdraw into a shell, rather than create a public spectacle of herself.

"I knew I needed time away, so I went to Egypt for a month -- on my own, which gave it a whole different perspective," she told Reuters in a recent interview.

"It allowed me to see things I'd never seen before -- all the temples on the Nile, the Pyramids, the history. It was so rich and beautiful and strong, and it inspired me so much, and renewed me."

Bobby Brown - Browns Son Reveals Toilet Fling With Lohan


BOBBY BROWN's singer son LANDON secretly dated LINDSAY LOHAN after she seduced him in a nightclub bathroom.

Landon, whose former stepmother was Whitney Houston, claims the toilet tryst took place two years ago at a private party in West Hollywood, when he was 21 and actress/singer Lohan was 20.

The star of MTV reality show Rock the Cradle reveals, "Me and Lindsay got really, really close. She followed me to the bathroom during a private party, and, well, we basically got together.

"I think she knew who I was when she first saw me. We were just staring at each other and she waked by. I walked into the bathroom and she followed me in."

He reveals the pair dated briefly before splitting - and he is keen for a reunion: "It didn't end badly, but it did end weird. I'm actually trying to get back in touch with her - really soon."

Singer Samantha Mumba has been voted off the reality show 'Dancing on Ice'.
She left the show last night after the judges chose to save javelin thrower Steve Backley, following the skate-off after the public vote.

Clint Eastwood - Eastwood Dismisses Dirty Harry Comeback Rumours

CLINT EASTWOOD has laughed off claims he is bringing his legendary DIRTY HARRY character back for a new movie - insisting the grizzled cop would be far too old.

It was recently reported the 77-year-old wanted to kill off Harry Callahan in one more movie, 37 years after the character first graced the big screen.

But Eastwood - who will introduce a Cannes Film Festival screening of 1971's Dirty Harry on Thursday (22May08) - insists Callahan would be long retired by now.

He says, "Dirty Harry would not be in a police department at my age."

New Paul Weller album gets US release

Paul Weller's first studio album in three years will be released in the US this summer.

'22 Dreams' -- a double album featuring guests including Oasis' Noel Gallagher and Blur's Graham Coxon -- will hit shelves on July 22.

The follow-up to 2005's 'As Is Now' was co-produced by Weller and Simon Dine and recorded at Weller's own Black Barn Studios in Surrey, England.

The album's first single, 'Echoes Round The Sun', was co-written by Weller and Gallagher.

Other guests on the 21-song album include Little Barrie and ex-Stone Roses guitarist Aziz Ibrahim.

Prince Caspian - Chronicles Of Narnia Shatters Us Box Office

Fantasy adventure film CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: PRINCE CASPIAN has shattered the competition at the U.S. box office on its first week of release.

The film, starring newcomer Ben Barnes, made $56.5 million (GBP28.25million) in its opening weekend (16-18May08), toppling action hit Iron Man, which slipped to two with $31.2 million (GBP15.6million). The big-screen adaptation of the popular comic has made an impressive $222 million (GBP111million) since it opened in theatres three weeks ago.

Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher's romantic comedy What Happens in Vegas is at number three, taking in $13.8 million (GBP6.9million), while Speed Racer is in fourth place with just over $7.6 million (GBP3.8million).

The top five is rounded out by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's comedy Baby Mama, which brought in just under $4.6 million (GBP2.3million).
